Hope Little Boy is ok.<br />I like the coral/big flower print, it really works in the block, it stands out. they all look great. The woven chevron looks a fiddly one, not sure if I'm looking forward to it. There is no doubt this quilt is going to be HUGE! The block is 12" with a 2" border on each side and there's going to be a total of 20 blocks, so pretty big I think! Will be something for us all to snuggle under I think?!Soniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17446868246162036179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8479355545230535007.post-70856731140455046872013-04-16T21:27:22.596+01:002013-04-16T21:27:22.596+01:00Thanks Chrissie :) It's amazing how much diffe...Thanks Chrissie :) It's amazing how much difference having the fiddly border bits cut to shape makes, isn't it? I've still yet to sort my backing fabric. One day I'll catch up on it all!!!Soniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17446868246162036179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8479355545230535007.post-39854881567708582192013-04-16T17:11:44.846+01:002013-04-16T17:11:44.846+01:00Argh to the chicken pox, hope he's ok. How many blocks does it take to make up the quilt?Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01891063381064955827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8479355545230535007.post-79903731691411077932013-04-16T00:18:53.156+01:002013-04-16T00:18:53.156+01:00I'm loving them Sonia and that large print cor...I'm loving them Sonia and that large print coral works so well and lifts the whole quilt and gives it focus. Funny I had the exact same thought when I laid the 6 blocks out together - this is going to be a humungous quilt!!! I took the time and cut out all the border strips last month and it saved me loads of time this time round so this month I prepped all my batting squares for the whole quilt too. I guess I could cut all my backing fabrics to size this month ...<br /><br />Hope your little family are all well very again soon and you have a great week :)Chris Dodsley @made by ChrissieDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07850681754516767449noreply@blogger.com
