April Siblings Together Bee Block ✔

Helloooooo. Happy Easter!!! I can't believe that nearly three weeks have gone since my last post! It's been a spectacular Easter holiday filled with lots of trips to local castles and into Wales: the weather has been amazing and it's been so much fun!

I've even managed some sewing! First on my list for the month was April's Sibling Together Block and Queen Bee Hadley asked us to make two St Louis 16 patch with the Moda Sewing Box Line by Gina Martin;

Its such a fun range and you can get some of the lines at the Village Haberdashery at the moment. As always a massive thank you to all of the people who have so generously sponsored this bee;

In case you're new to my blog (!) Siblings Together is a charity that brings together brothers and sisters that have been separated in the care system for an annual holiday camp to catch up with the hope of providing them all with a quilt that they can take away with them as a reminder of their time together. You can see Lynne's original post here. There's sadly too many children in the care system so we are looking to get together as many quilt donations as we can so that every child can leave with a quilt. If you feel inspired to make a quilt that would be fantastic and all the details are on Lynne's blog or in the Flickr group. If not a quilt, maybe you have a spare 30 minutes and you could make a few blocks? At the moment there is a collection for 9" finished wonky crosses blocks and I whipped these up this morning;

Thanks for reading and back soon with some more sewing!
