What happened to February?!

February has been a bit of a write off in all honesty. It's been nearly a month since the lurgy first hit us but *whispers* I think we're finally beating it! There hasn't been a whole lot of sewing unfortunately, and although I'm late, I'm also linking up with Lily's Quilts Fresh Sewing Day.

Obviously, the first thing to mention is knickers!!!!! The swap was really good fun and I'm going to plan Round Two soon as lots of people have said they'd like to take part.

And there's also been some gift sewing too - weighted pincushion-threadcatchers are becoming my go to gift for sewing friends - and also a wall hanging. Both of these were made from scraps too, which is even better!

March is looking a bit hectic with some secret sewing and a quilt for Little Boys birthday at the end of March: he wants a "blue quilt Mummy" using mainly solids, and only the medium-dark blues. No pastels allowed here! This is completely outside my comfort zone, but I'm trying to embrace my inner-improv-ness (if that's even a word?!).

Oh, and in exciting news I've booked my ticket for Fat Quarterly Retreat - can't wait!!!

Today's sky ● blue sky with clouds. It feels like spring is finally coming - woo hoo!!!
