Last week was one full of fabric deliveries and purchases. Don't you just love weeks like that?!
As it had been my birthday, a close friend sent me a FQ bundle of yellow and grey fabrics from My Fabric House
. Aren't they beautiful? They fill a hole in my stash too as they're fabrics that I wouldn't have necessarily chosen but now that I have them I love them! Particularly those umbrellas, so cute!
Mr f&f and I also managed a trip out to Monmouth - by ourselves! - for a lovely lunch out. And I managed a little detour into a gorgeous fabric shop where a couple of things might have slipped into my basket.....
I just love that text print!!!! And the Summersville was on too good a deal to refuse. Honest!
The final lot of goodies came from the Village Haberdashery
- I received a birthday voucher from them (the good people that they are!) and after umming and aching for a while I finally caved when Florence went on offer, to the tune of 9FQs. Ooops!!!
They are so beautiful. For now there's been lots of stroking and petting, and I'm starting to ponder whether they would make a good basis for the Marcelle Medallion. I'm completely inspired by the Quilt Along that Penny Poppleton
is running (and can also be followed on Instagram with the hashtag #mmqal)
and am just procrastinating over whether or not to actually dive in!!!
See you soon,
Today's sky ● blue with clouds!
